20 minuets performance/ interactive sound design
Borrowing from the aesthetics of a diplomatic presentation the piece presents us with an alternative perspective on the face of men in power. There are disturbing similarities in the mannerism of leaders, presidents and other figures functioning inside of all governing systems, from the most democratic to the more openly oppressive regimes. The insidious control system that is the global economic market is pointing their guns at people. Sit down, shut up and do what you are told.
How can the desires of individuals be rectified within the framework of mass protest- with all these people yelling and screaming is anyone heard, are anyone’s desires addressed? After the revolution what do you have? What can be made? Who will be in control? If we change the faces within a power structure does anything significant change ? Stand up, speak out and take your freedoms back.
